Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Resident in Counseling (LPC) to join our dynamic and growing practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience under supervision, working with a diverse population. You will have the chance to develop your skills in various therapeutic modalities, receive consistent support, and grow both professionally and personally as part of a close-knit team of dedicated professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and group counseling under supervision
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive, client-focused practice environment


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active Resident in Counseling license (or eligibility) in Virginia
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families through evidence-based and empathetic care
  • Willingness to grow professionally through supervision and continuing education
